"You Must Remember Her "

I said to the The Whittler. " Lived at the end of Station Road....had two brothers, one sister...good looking ?"
"Ohhhhhh" he said, " Yeah, the sister looks like a crow ". After falling about laughing I realised he was right, she does look like a crow.

  2. A good looking crow though John. Mighty Town still on the march, great result against Leeds.

  3. I'd like to have met her when I was in my prime but she probably wasn't even born!

The piking has been rubbish so far I've had, so far, one pike, one pike, five pike and a perch, A blank with a lost fish, blank with a lost fish and a total blank.

The drains still have lots of weed and I'm hoping this cold spell lays some of it low. Even wobbled deadbeats and plugs have proved to be a zero.

Out again this week, the optimism of the angler? Or stupidity?

Boro play Ipswich a week on Saturday and wanted to come to the game but we have a family do, so not even fishing either. If Boro beat Derby on Saturday that will throw it wide open again.

    All the best,

    John

  4. One man's optimism is another man's stupidity. Depends on how keen you are ! Any one in the top half could get promoted, it's wide open. Ipswich managing to sneak points this year, complete opposite of last year.

  5. That's getting a bit philosophical Scribbler. next week I'm trying two new locations so I'll report back. You and BB should come up in the New Year, have a full English at Two Terrier Towers then we'll fish. probably for fuck all the way this pike season is going but the crack wil be good.

    All the best, John

  6. I'm well up for that. Just waiting for Mak Baines to get his fat arse into gear. I'll chase him up, it would be a good day out.
